CFQ healing is complementary to medical treatment.

The CFQ Approach to External Healing

CFQ is a system of holistic healing that aims to restore vitality and harmony within the body and activate the body's innate ability to heal itself. By practicing the CFQ movements and meditation a person is able to bring about this awakening, to a large extent, on their own.

However, the assistance of a trained CFQ healer can significantly deepen the resulting harmonization of the mind and body and lead to real breakthroughs in healing.

In CFQ external healing, a patient is asked to meditate on presence while the healer works to remove the debased energies of past experience from their body. Gentle massage-like contact can be carried out on the patient. Meditation is normally part of the treatment. Freeing the body of trauma results in a harmonious state in which radical healing is able to take place. Especially when combined with self-practice of the movements and meditation, CFQ has shown its value as an effective form of healing.

Attitude of the Person Being Healed

Be Open-Minded

It is important not to allow doubt to hinder the possibility of healing.

Be Sincere

Hold a sincere desire to be well and a sincere belief that you will be well. Don't allow previous failures or disappointments to harden into a mental block that prevents your healing.

Be Willing to Cooperate with the Therapist

Healing procedures require the patient to relax and let go of mental activities. The therapist will typically assign exercises to be done at home. It is important that practice of these be maintained as they will extend the effect of the healing. They also serve the purpose of occupying the mind and keeping it from being taken up with negative thoughts that can compound disease problems.

The Training of CFQ Healers

Master Yap's teachings on healing others and his numerous training workshops have led many of his students to develop their own abilities sufficiently to be able to offer healing. The self-healing and insight required are principally the products of lengthy meditation training and practice.
