7. The Distinctive Path of CFQ
CFQ offers a holistic training program. The Dynamic Movements of Level One (Meridian Healing) is the beginning of an integrated course of training that leads to health, happiness and spiritual development.

CFQ TRAINING LEVELS
CFQ Level 1: Qigong Healing Movements
CFQ Level 2: Healing Meditation – Awakening the Light
CFQ Level 3: Energy Healing Techniques
CFQ Level 4: Light Meditation – Emptying Defilements
CFQ Level 5: Advanced Meditation - Siddhis
CFQ Level 6: Toward Nirvana

CFQ DIFFERS FROM OTHER FORMS OF QIGONG
CFQ does not consider Qigong to be a means of acquiring, generating, absorbing, storing, or broadcasting strength or power — attitudes that are all too common in other forms of Qigong. Emphasizing mental intention (li) tends to generate new karmic formations which can produce energy blockages. Qi is very powerful. Used in a focussed manner it can lead to deleterious results – for practitioner and recipient.

In CFQ we do not:
  • Direct the flow of Qi internally ("orbits")
  • Direct focussed Qi in external healing ("beaming")
  • Practice visualization
  • Hold static body postures
  • Practice focussed breathing
  • Concentrate on particular parts of the body

In CFQ we stress:
  • Qi flow – as opposed to a build up of Qi
  • Non-doing, relaxation, letting go, release
  • Emptiness and detachment
  • The absence of strength
  • The de-emphasizing of intention
  • The body's innate ability to heal itself and return to a state of natural health
